Description

  • SILVER, GOLD, PEARL, DIAMOND
Designed as a series of scroll and stylised foliate motifs, set at intervals with pearls of various sizes, circular-cut and rose diamonds, inner circumference 223mm, together with necklace fitting  necklace length approximately 380mm and brooch fitting, fitted case Edward Tessier, 26 New Bond St. London.

Condition

Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report, no.02921 stating that thirteen pearls were found to be natural saltwater. One button-shaped part-drilled pearl untested (due to location at centre of tiara/necklace) Pearls of medium lustre with cream overtones, ranging in size, largest approximately 6.2mm x 6.5 x 5.1mm, smallest approximately 3.2mm x 3.2mm x 3.5mm. Diamonds bright and lively, largest measuring approximately 0.12 carats. All appropriate fittings present. Metal slightly tarnished and scratched consistent with age and wear, could benefit from professional clean. In very good condition.
