Condition

Illustration is accurate. Attractive and unusual set of fourteen chairs, among them nine are stamped Père Gourdin (not mentioned in the catalogue). Good condition. Stable structure. Some stretchers have been replaced as expected. As well as few seat part (the frame which support the "cannage"). Caned covers redone. These chairs have been stripped out. Nice colour of beechwood. Small dents in places. Good quality of carving. To recommend.
