Condition

Overall excellent condition. The upholstery has been replaced with silk upholstery designed by Suzanne Lalique. The upholstery is in excellent condition and is slightly more green in tone than it appears in the catalogue illustration. It appears that the wooden portion of the frame has been refreshed and possibly with an added finish. The ebony macassar with beautiful figuring. The sabots are in excellent condition, with replaced hardware. Unable to examine the underside of the seat to inspect for markings, as the current configuration of the underseat prohibits removal without destroying the undercarriage of the chair.
