Condition

Overall in very good condition. It appears that the wooden portion of the frame has been refreshed and possibly with an added finish. The settee with an area of prior restoration to the reverse proper right corner along the seam two inches below the top edge and a smaller additional restoration adjacent, which appears to have been re-stabilized or glued. The proper left side with a similar restoration smaller in size. The color of the upholstery is slightly less orange than in the catalogue photograph. The velour upholstery with some very minor areas of wear, which appear lighter in color. Minor wear to the velour upholstery at the lower proper right edge. The back of the settee with an inset velour panel. A very good example of a rare form by Ruhlmann.
