Catalogue Note

In 1996 Patek launched a completely new and ingenious date mechanism for annual calendar with an automatic movement. This innovative invention is taking account of the days' variance of each month from the 1st March to the end of February in the following year.

This reference is illustrated in Huber, M, & Banberry, A, Patek Philippe Wristwatches, Vol II, Second Edition, p. 323.
