Condition

Reference number between the lugs 6265 is matching reference number inside the case back. Serial number between the lugs 3976556. The movement is running and all function are fully operational while cataloguing, however it may require a service in the near future in order to be well preserved. The dial is in good condition. The case and the bracelet are in good condition. This watch is in overall very good condition.

Catalogue Note

The Sultanate of Oman emblem is made of a two crossed "khanjars" knifes, a traditional dagger of Oman. Between the daggers is placed the "gourith", a small traditional axe whose head is 10 cm long. This model with Oman arms is very rare to find. An "Omani Cosmograph" ref 6263 was sold in Geneva in 2006 for CHF 48'000.
