Catalogue Note

This reference was made in a limited edition of 25 examples in 1997 for the 25th anniversary of the Royal Oak model.

The tourbillon device was invented in 1801 by Abraham Louis Breguet and is one of the most ingenious mechanisms invented by any horologist. It comprises of a mobile carriage which houses the escapement, this makes one revolution per minute and thus eliminating the errors which occur when the movement is in a vertical position.
