Description

Designed as a flexible wide band of honeycomb links, accented with circular-cut rubies, to a buckle clasp invisibly set to the centre with calibré-cut rubies and the sides pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, length approximately 177mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, French assay marks; together with a pair of dress clips, similarly set, unsigned, French assay marks to one, later alterations, one small ruby deficient.

Condition

Bracelet: stamped Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered 46208, French assay marks for 18 carat gold, French maker's marks. Scratches consistent with age and wear, one pronounced scratch to side of buckle. Diamonds bright and lively. Rubies slightly pinkish red, moderetely strong saturation, well matched, nicks, cavities, abrasions to facet junctions, one calibré-cut ruby cracked. Highly articulated. Secure clasp. In good condition. Clips: French assay marks to side of one clip, scratches consistent with age and wear, discoloration to metal, evidence of repair. Diamond bright and lively. Rubies: slightly purplish pinkish red, well matched, nicks, cavities, abrasions to facet junctions. Secure clips. In good condition.
