Designed as a series of open work foliate links set with faceted sapphires, emeralds and rubies, highlighted with circular- and rose diamonds, suspending at intervals pearl drops, to a similarly set brooch/pendant, length approximately 400mm, central jewel and pearl drop detachable, can be worn as a brooch or pendant, original fitted tooled case.
Condition
Verbal stating the pearls test as natural saltwater. Mounted in silver and gold. Sapphires medium light to medium dark blue, varying saturations. Rubies medium slightly purplish red, different saturation in stones. Emeralds medium light green, different saturation in stones. Coloured stones with typical inclusions visible with magification. Diamonds bright and lively. Well articulated. Secure clasp and safety chain. Tarnished consistent with age and wear. Well articulated. In good condition.
Fitted case: Three secure clasps. Leather scuffed, one tear. Silk at hinges fraying, water marks, splits in wood near to the front on lid and base.
