Description

  • Silver
  • 31.5cm, 12 1/4 in high
each with part gadrooned body on spreading circular foot, engraved on either side with a coat-of-arms, crest and drapery cartouche, cast ring handles terminating in masks, the upper border with scrolling grape vines and masks, one foot stamped 'RUNDELL BRIDGE ET RUNDEL AURIFICES REGIS ET PRINCIPIS WALLIÆ LONDINI FECERUNT'

Condition

Numbered 2 and 4 throughout, one liner lacking marks and number (2); some light surface wear commensurate with age; the rims are in two parts which is unusual and this is probably because they were cut in half at a later date to make it easier to put them in place; generally in very good condition.
