Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling along the edges especially at the corners with an associated tear in the lower right pull margin. There is very light soling along the extreme bottom edge. There are a few scattered circular areas which fluoresce brightly under ultraviolet light in the yellow painted area. There are a few scattered liquid accretions which fluoresce dimly under ultraviolet light. This work has benefitted from a recent surface cleaning by Amman and Estabrook Conservation and the surface of the canvas appears clean and fresh. Under ultraviolet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. Unframed.
