Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer, with the background tending more towards deep cream in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are three holes at the lateral edges; one at the top, one at the middle and one at the bottom; all visible in the catalogue illustration, which appear original. On close inspection there is evidence of scattered faint surface abrasions, a few fine rub marks and some surface smudging, which appear inherent to the artist's working method. The top left extreme corner tip is missing.
