Description

  • 92.5cm. high, 120cm. wide; 3ft. ¼in., 3ft. 11¼in.
with an arched fireback united by pedestals with detachable conforming plinths, supporting a four bar basket grate surmounted by obelisks, the central bar with lotus buds and the lower bar with a fringe of stylised leaves with pendants, each pedestal formerly with appliques

Condition

Fair condition but the surface will need some attention. The arched fireback is very decorative but has some flaking rust and one missing scroll. The pedestals and grate all have light rust, stains and verdigris.
