Condition

Pile generally low to knotheads throughout. Areas of abrash. Some minor scattered kashmir repiling, not extensive. Sides original with two cord white cotton selvages and cloth tape sewn on reverse at ends to prevent sides from curling under due to density of weave. Small 4 in. by 4in. stain in upper left corner. Missing upper end outer guard stripes, now secured blanket stitch. Carpet has been gently chemically washed to soften color palette. Dense weave, flexible handle, good overall condition. Very attractive overall design and soft color palette punctuated by light blue palmettes.
