Condition

Overall in excellent original condition. This table and chairs is a very well-matched set. The table with some shallow surface scratches consistent with age and use. The two walnut boards are joined by three rosewood butterfly keys. A few minute edge chips to the lower edge of the table. This table is being sold with two extension leaves which slide into place at each end. Each leaf extends the table approximately 16 1/8 inches. The leaves are a good color match to the main table, however they have not received the same regular waxing as the table top and would benefit from a professional waxing to match the treatment of the table top. One leaf with some white abrasions, and both with some very shallow surface scratches. The chairs in this suite are in excellent condition with minor nicks and scratches to the lower portions of the legs from use. This table is also being sold with a custom made felt pad, which is in four pieces. The cover is in fair condition, showing some wear and some informal repairs made to the seams with tape.
