Condition
Original canvas. There are two small areas of retouching to two repairs (patched on the reverse), visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from scattered fine craquelure and some light frame abrasion to the extreme edges of the canvas, this work is in very good condition, with a delicate palette, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame with acanthus leaf motifs.
