Condition
The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.:
This painting is in very good condition. The canvas is unlined but the tacking edges have been reinforced. There is one reinforcement on the reverse of the canvas in the center of the left side, which corresponds to a restoration on the surface. This restoration is visible under ultraviolet light running horizontally for about two inches and situated approximately three inches from the center of the left side.
Other than this there are essentially no other restorations. This painting is generally in beautiful and fresh condition, and should be hung as is.
