The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This painting is cleaned and restored. The canvas has been lined with glue as an adhesive and is well presented. There are restorations in the marble to the right and left of the parrot, in the arm and hand of the figure holding up the parrot, and in a few spots in her hair. A few dots have been applied in the shadowed side of her left leg. The remainder of the figure however seems to be very nicely preserved. Overall the condition is very good.
