2 handcolored engraved plates with etching and aquatint (38 x 25 1/4 in.; 967 x 642 mm), extracted from The Birds of America (London, 1827–1838), after Audubon by Robert Havell, numbered plate cxxxviii and plate clxxviii. Good impressions with fresh coloring, generous margins; some minor marginal creasing, slight paper loss at left margin of plate 178 due to extraction from bound volume. Floated and glazed in handsome gilt frames.
