Condition

Overall in excellent original condition with some minor oxidation and surface scratches. The sideboard is intended as a hanging sideboard, with the steel support bar to the interior and holes for hanging. It is currently resting on a modern metal base, which is being sold with the piece. This base with oxidation and scratches, and it is not intended to be seen once the sideboard is in place. The slate top with some minor surface scratches. The proper left side with some lifting and bending to one of the decorative metal panels, which is easily repaired. The sculptural elements to the front of the case are in superb condition with some minor surface dirt. The interior is red painted. The proper right side opens to reveal a single fabric covered adjustable shelf. The proper left portion with a sculpted bronze-fronted drawer to the immediate far left side. The drawer with removable wooden dividers. The interior of this compartment with some scratches extending almost to depth of the case to the lower painted portion. A superb example of this bold and dynamic form.
