Description

  • width: 10.2cm, 4in.
in Art Nouveau taste, the lid cast and chased with the head of a water nymph, her flowing hair transforming into water lilies, the blooms set with rose-cut diamonds and pearls with green enamel leaves on an aqua blue ground, pearl-set thumbpiece, 88 standard

Condition

Restoration to blue enamel at upper left and some leaves. One mother-of-pearl flower has been replaced, another re-glued. Very minor surface nickas and scratches from use.
