Catalogue Note

The letter refers to the catalogue of the Becher's Munich touring exhibition which which can be precisely dated: it took place 6th March - 7th April 1967 at the Staatl.Museum für angewandte Kunst. The Arts Council exhibition of the work of the Bechers, curated by Norbert Lynton, toured in the UK in 1974-75. Between those dates, then, these pages can be dated among the earliest surviving demonstrations of the Bechers' working process.
