Condition

Single panel is flat, cradled, and beveled on at least the bottom side. The green background seems to have thinned somewhat in the lighter shades. An area of overpaint is visible to both the naked eye and under UV along darks of background. Figure however is in very nice state with original detailing intact. UV also reveals a thick older varnish, rendering older retouches largely invisible, but it would seem that the figure, his attire, and smaller details are in good condition. In a carved and giltwood frame.
