Condition
L'opera è in prima tela.
Ad un primo esame si evidenzia una caduta di pigmento (circa 2 x 1 cm nella parte più estesa) sul bordo in alto a destra in corrispondenza della battuta della vecchia cornice. Sono presenti piccole tracce della doratura della cornice lungo il bordo superiore, facilmente rimuovibili.
L'esame alla lampada di Wood rivela la presenza di un leggero strato di vernice debolmente fluorescente. Non si riscontra la presenza di ritocchi o restauri.
L'opera si presenta in ottimo stato di conservazione. Si consiglia una leggera pulitura.
Work on first canvas.
From a first hand inspection there is a loss (cm 2 x 1 circa) near the top edge near the frame. There are traces of the frame's gilding along the top edge.
The ultra violet light reveals a light fluorescent varnish, no retouches nor restoration.
It is suggested a light cleansing.
The overall condition as to the state of preservation is very good.
