Condition

The supports consists of a swingle panel with a slight convex bow. The paint is secure and under a patchy varnish. There is some minor frame abrasion along the bottom edge. There is a 5cm long splinter on the left edge that is coming away from the rest of the panel but this appears to be old and is mostly hidden by the frame. Inspection under UV is hampered by the dirty varnish but minor scattered older and more recent retouchings do fluoresce. Offered in a composite gilt wood frame in fair condition.
