Very good condition, on stable panel with two horizontal supports, frame abrasion along right edge; under UV: no inpainting apparent.

The present work is a copy of Arnold Böcklin's Sommertag painted by his son Carlo in the summer of 1899. Carlo Böcklin himself confirmed this in a letter addressed to the Böcklin expert, Prof. Heinrich Alfred Schmid, on September 20, 1909.
