Description

  • Buddha approximately 48.90 x 49.42 x 7.12 mm; cabochon approximately 5.05 x 2.10 mm.
The highly translucent jadeite material of light celadon colour carved as a Buddha suffused with green splashes, surmounted by a rounded jadeite cabochon of bright emerald green colour, decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white gold.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the icy jadeite Buddha is almost semi-transparent, showing a few green splashes against the celadon body colour. There are many white spotty inclusions throughout the carving, but do not affect the translucency of the pendant. The tiny round jadeite cabochon set in the surmount is of highly translucent, bright emerald green colour. Diamonds are probably of I colour, VS to SI clarity. Condition: This is a lot will be offered without reserve. Overall, the pendant is in mint condition.
