Sapphire and diamond ring, Cartier

Description

The hunting panther pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, the eyes set with pear-shaped emeralds, the nose with onyx, highlighted with a cushion-shaped sapphire, mounted in platinum, size 53, signed Cartier and numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Stamped Pt950 for platinum and numbered 51734A, signed Cartier. Please refer to SSEF report for details on the sapphire. Sapphire estimated to weigh approximately 5.60 carats, as gauged in the mount. Blue hue of medium strong saturation. Clean to the naked eye, some very few typical inclusions noticeable with the aid of a 10x lens, minor abrasions to table edges. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition.
