Description

The hinged bangle of fluted design highlighted with buff-toped calibré-cut rubies, set at the front with a rectangular dial with black arabic numerals, the terminals set with cabochon and calibré-cut rubies and brilliant-cut diamonds, circumference approximately 155mm.

Condition

Ruby of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain ruby of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of jadeite or ruby into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Stamped 750 for gold. Rubies pinkish red colour, good saturation, overall well matched, with typical crystal inclusion (some reaching surface), some stones with minor abrasion. Diamonds with good brilliance. Mechanical movement in running condition at the time of cataloguing, but please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee future working condition of watches. Some tarnish to dial. Tarnish and scratches to metal commensurate with age and wear. In good condition.
