Description
Centring on an oval opal within a surround millegrain-set with circular-cut diamonds and variously shaped rubies, suspending a similarly set opal terminating on an opal drop, fitted case WM Bruford & Son Ltd.
Condition
Probably mounted in gold and silver. Opals with mainly green and blue play-of-colour with some flashes of red. Rubies, strong purplish red, medium tone. One stone possibly a replacement. Well articulated. Rotating safety catch. Length approximately 77mm. In very good condition.
