Comprising: a pair of ear clips each set with a cabochon ruby within scalloped borders of brilliant-cut diamonds, signed Gerard, French assay and maker's marks, together with detachable drops and a ring of similar design, ring size G, sizing band, pouches.

Earrings: Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Signed Gerard. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 20.00 - 22.00 carats, estimated colour H-I, estimated clarity VS on average. Strong clip fittings. Scratches to mounts consistent with wear. Ring: Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Rubies with typical inclusions visible to the naked eye, several surface reaching inclusions, some cavities. These jewels are being sold in order to support The Mediterranean Association to Save the Sea Turtles (MEDASSET) and its outstanding biodiversity conservation work throughout the Mediterranean. Founded in 1988, MEDASSET is an international not for profit environmental NGO registered as a charity and private company in the UK and as a Non Profit Organisation in Greece. MEDASSET plays an active role in the study and conservation of sea turtles and their habitats throughout the Mediterranean, through scientific research, environmental education, political lobbying and raising public awareness. The organisation has been a Partner to the Mediterranean Action Plan (MAP) of UNEP and a Permanent Observer-member of the Bern Convention at the Council of Europe since 1988.
