Condition
The canvas is lined. There is a 5 by 2cm. area and a 2cm. sq. area of small strokes of retouching to the upper right quadrant, three nailhead-sized spots of retouching to the centre of the upper edge and a 1cm. sq. spot of retouching in the upper left quadrant. All retouching is visible under UV light. Apart from a nailhead-sized spot of retouching to the right of the boat masts, a spot of retouching to the upper left corner and further spot of retouching to the upper left edge, this work is in good condition.
Colours: Fairly accurate, although the blues are stronger and slightly deeper in the original.
