Condition

Overall in very good condition. With minor surface scratches and rubbing to the patination throughout. The lamp has recently undergone professional restoration by a Giacometti expert in Paris to repair a small crack to the standard immediately below the face. There are holes drilled to the reverse of the base and another approximately 1/3 of the way up the standard also to the reverse. Originally there are two models of this lamp executed by Alberto. The present lot shows details of both variants. This lot has been examined by the Giacometti foundation and a certificate will be issued in January.
