Brackett, 26 plates of black-and-white photographs, 6 plates of figures, 2 maps; light foxing to 6 plates, one leaf of diagrams, and a few text leaves. Accompanied by a matching case containing 14 card mounts (11 1/2 x 8 3/4 in.; 292 x 222 mm), 2 displaying salmon hooks and leaders, remaining 12 displaying 14 complete flies and their components, tied by C. Farlow of London to Phair's specifications; adhesive paste stains below feather mounts, card lightly toned, occasional spotting to satin. Text volume and mounts uniformly bound in half green morocco; spines faded to brown. Green cloth slipcase; somewhat worn.
