Condition

This work appears in very good condition overall. The elements move smoothly and freely. There is evidence of oxidation on the rods consistent with age and all of th elements show varying degrees of spot oxidation, particularly at the lateral edges of the elements, wear and soiling with age. This work has recently benefited from a topical cleaning from Amann + Estabrook conservation. The paint generally stable but shows eviednce of discoloration with age.
