Le contact permanant avec le corps humain qui le portait a estompé les reliefs et effacé les traits, résumant l'œuvre à sa beauté essentielle et intemporelle. Dans la courbe naturelle de l'ivoire l'œil saisit l'inclinaison d'un buste féminin, le visage baissé, les bras repliés contre le corps, les mains posées sous la poitrine. L'intériorité du geste et la douceur des courbes trouvent écho dans les nuances claires de la patine, crème et caramel.

Good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. Thin stabilized cracks on the reverse. Soft worn patina.
