Gouache on paper, depicting two finely drawn men in conversation walking on a hill with a distant townscape, inner margin of gold foliate scrolls against a blue ground, further borders ruled in colours and gold, laid down on an album page with wide outer magins decorated with naturalistc floral sprays in colours highlighted with gold, verso blank
Condition
In fair overall condition, losses to the paint at the bottom of the miniature, and slight vertical cracking and creasing, colours very slightly faded, borders clean and bright, as viewed.
