  • plaques height 10 in.; width 15 in.
  • 25.5 cm, 38 cm
each signed Mansuy-Dotin, in carved giltwood frames.

Condition

Overall in good condition and presentation. The copper plates have a uneven surface consistent with firing. The frames with the usual minor dents, scratches consistent with age. One plaque with a small circular color change to enamel located to the right side of the sleeping soldier.

Madame Lucie Mansuy-Dotin was active at 5, rue des Quatre-Fils, Paris. She trained under her father, the reknowned Parisian enamel painter A.C. Dotin.
