Condition
Original canvas. There are some scattered minor flecks of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably some very small flecks to the forehead of the figure. Apart from light stretcher marks to the edges and some light frame rubbing along the left edge, this work is in good condition, with rich colours and fine detail, and ready to hang. Held in a simple, wide, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame.
