Condition

This painting is in beautiful condition. The canvas has a soft, old glue lining. The paint layer is probably clean and is varnished.
No retouches are visible either under ultraviolet light or to the naked eye and it is most likely that there are none, although it is conceivable that there is one small retouch in the sky next to the pole in the water with the lamp on top. In general the picture is in excellent state and could be hung as is.
