Description

  • length: 6cm, 2 3/8in.
bulbous form, enamelled in translucent rose Pompadour over textured engine-turning, mounted with chased laurel trellis and set with rose-cut diamonds within diamond-set bands, the terminal set with a large aquamarine, with workmaster's initials, 56 standard

Condition

A small section of gold trelliswork is broken and missing and there is a slight break to the gold mount to the left of the missing section. There is also a sign of restoration evident to the mount, but it is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the piece. The aquamarine is of light green-ish blue colour measuring approximately 17mm by 17mm, however it is not possible to calculate carat weight due to setting of the stone.
