Both catalogue illustrations are representative. but the pictures are far more dynamic. Both are relined and are offered in carved wood frames with minor losses. Both paint surfaces display no structural damages but have some discoloured retouchings. The paint surface retains much of its vibrancy and impasto. The latter painting has a minor paint los and some thinness in the sky. Both show some repaint in the sky which is confirmed under UV light, as well as other scattered retouchings.
