Condition
The catalogue illustration is representative of the painting.
The canvas has been relined and it is offered in a wood guilt XIX Century frame, with one loss in the upper left corner.
To the naked eye the painting appears in very good condition, retaining its rich impasto.
Inspection under ultra-violet light confirms the good state of the picture, revealing only some minor restoration in the sky, even if the thick varnish layer impedes a clear analysis. The painting will benefit from a cleaning.
