rare, especially in the original wrappers. "one of the best books on the greek war of independence. Raybaud made several journeys to Greece between 1821 and 1828 when he at last settled at Patras and founded the newspaper Courrier d'Orient. He was one of the officers of the expeditionary force sent out by the Paris Greek Committee in 1825" (Atabey).
