Designed as an open work rectangular plaque centring on an 'N', within a radiating foliate surround millegrain-set with rose- and circular-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, brooch fitting detachable to be worn as a centrepiece of a collier de chien,

Condition

It is possible that the 'N' is a later addition by a member of the family. Signed Cartier Paris and numbered 1473. Total diamond weight approximately 10.50 carats, overall H-I colour, VS-SI clarity as gauged in the mount. Good brilliance throughout. Composed of five hinged and curved elements, signs of several repairs in the past. The brooch fitting is detachable with the aid of a screwdriver (not in lot). Measurments 850 x 550mm and weighs 83 grams. Signs of wear to the mount, scratches consistent with use, in good condition.
