Please refer to the Important Notices page 217 in the Day Sale catalogue, or page 141 in the Evening Sale catalogue regarding import of rubies into the US. French assay marks for gold and platinum, maker's mark MH with a star in between. Numbered 65492. Number and signature partial to one earclip due to a small repair. Rubies estimated to weigh approximately 8.00 carats in total, typical inclusions visible with magnification, purple and reddish purple hue, medium to medium dark tone. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.00 carats. Sign of normal wear, in good condition.
