Dial looks in very good condition. The case shows very light wear throughout, small scuffs next to the minute repeating slide.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Certificate dated 1995, wooden presentation case, IWC's promotional literature book to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the manufacture and leather pouch with a pair of spare straps.

The Destriero Scafusia was made in a limited edition of only 125 examples to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of IWC in Schaffhausen in 1993. This watch, containing 750 individually manufactured and hand-finished mechanical parts, is the most complicated wristwatch ever produced in series, with a total of twenty-one functions and displays. The promotional literature for the piece notes that it is internally equipped with a second century slide to be replaced in 2199 so that the watch can continue to function with no additional accoutrements until the year 2499.
