Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Franck Muller Certificate, Instruction Manual in leather folder and a presentation box with outer card box.

The Revolution 2 Tourbillon introduced in 2003, is part of a progression of innovative tourbillons created by Franck Muller. Preceded by the Revolution 1 in 2002, and succeeded by the Revolution 3 and Evolution 5 introduced in 2004 and 2005 respectively, the Revolution 2 highlights the ingenuity of the maker.

Featuring the first dual axis tourbillon employed in a wristwatch, the Revolution 2 consists of a vertical carriage which rotates once every eight minutes while a horizontal carriage rotates once every minute in the manner of a traditional tourbillon.

The Revolution 2 was in development for a number of years and due to its complexity, it appears that only a handful was ever put into actual production.
