• manual winding nickel lever movement, 17 jewels, mono-metallic balance •  silvered matte dial with Roman numerals, secret signature at VII, blued steel sword hands • 18k gold polished unusual asymmetric case, sapphire cabochon set crown, back secured by 4 screws in the band • case, dial and movement signed • with an 18k gold Cartier asymmetric deployant buckle

Condition

Manual winding movement is running while cataloguing. Dial looks clean. Case and buckle with superficial scuffs from normal wear but this is common and can be polished easily. Overall in very good condition. Case back is numbered '141091' and 'A 108437'. ** The leather strap of this wristwatch is made of endangered species, please refer to important notices for further information.**

The design of such unusal asymmetric case of the Crash was inspired by renowned surrealism artist- Salvador Dali. The present sample was one of the limited 300 pieces that was re-issued in 1991, signed with 'Paris' on the dial and the back of the case.
