Condition
Very good overall condition. The shade with approximately 25-30 cracks to the glass scattered throughout. The shade with some surface soiling throughout, particularly around the lead lines which would benefit from a sensitive cleaning. The base and top surfaces of the shade armature with some light rubbing and surface wear to the patina consistent with age and gentle use. The sockets and base switch appear to be original. The switch mechanism does not catch (click) when turned but does function. In person the color palette is more blue and far more subtle than in the catalogue illustrations, which are slightly too purple. A beautiful example of this rare model, displaying a particularly artistic selection of glass with great subtleties and nuances.
